Sr Ts. Dr. Asmawan Mohd Sarman (Surveyor – Sr.) is currently a Lecturer in Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He attained his HYBRID CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING QUALIFICATION, PhD in Architecture from the National University of Malaysia, Master from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia – UTM, in the discipline of Civil Engineering Construction Management, Bachelor Degree in Building Surveying from University of Malaya and Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
He has over 22 years experience in national and international construction industry such as Malaysia (USIM, Condominium Villa Makmur, SIRIM, IKBN, UMS – DKP2, Pasca, SUKSIS, FPL Sandakan, FPSK, IBTP), Doha Qatar (Athlete Village – Asia Games 2006) and Indonesia (Condominium). He has participated in various parties in the construction industry, starting with QS consultants, sub-contractors, developers, and main-contractor and also as a client. By profession, he is a Registered Surveyor of Royal Institution of Surveyor Malaysia and Committee Members of Institution of Value Management Malaysia.
