Dr. Azura Abdullah Effendi is a Senior Lecturer at School of Management, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Management and Organizational Behaviour. She researches Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, Psychosocial Health, and various work values. Currently supervising several Masters and Phd candidates, she has also graduated several Masters and Doctoral students.
She plays a huge role in community service as well as a consultant for USM and the industry, and an external examiner to several universities. Member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM), and Asian Academy of Management (AAM), she has written books on research writing and co-written books on Organizational Behaviour.
The most crucial highlight is her works are published in the journal Sustainability, the American Journal of Economics and Business Administration (AJEBA), Journal of Global Business and Economic (JOGBE), Journal of Asia Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, and International Journal of Computer Applications (IJCA). An active speaker and trainer at SOM, the Institute of Postgraduate Studies, and various schools across USM's 3 campuses, surrounding private colleges, and several federal government Ministries, our trainer has received several awards over her 17 years of service. She has examined numerous research theses from within as well as outside of USM, and is proud that some of her students have become respected academicians.
