Dr Ng Hee Song joined UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College as a senior lecturer of the School of Business in 2009. He is a member of the school assessment board, a school representative for the UC Research, Innovation and Enterprise Committee and the academic representative of the UOM Malaysia KDU Penang University College Senate.
Prior to his career in academia, he has early career industry experiences ranging from electrical manufacturing and assembly for automobile industries to precision engineering machining for E & E industries. His current and recent teaching expertise is in the fields of contemporary issues in business management, research and consultancy methods, management decision making, comparative business culture, business ethics, business mathematics, business statistics at the undergraduate level, and quantitative methods at the post-graduate level.
He is involved in research collaboration with other institutions and has joint publications of articles and book chapters focusing on research areas, particularly on management, leadership, work values, small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurship, innovation, and Industry 4.0 technology development. He is a reviewer for journals and conferences, besides participating in various conferences.
